Saratoga Springs, UT

Lord willing, Gospel Fellowship Church will launch in November 2025 with a passion to make gospel-centered, grace-saturated disciples who love God, love one another, and love their community. Right now, we are prayerfully building our launch team—gathering men, women, and families who share a vision to see lives transformed by the good news of Jesus. Until our official launch, we are meeting together for prayer, fellowship, and training, preparing to serve Saratoga Springs and beyond with the hope of the gospel.

Leadership

Josh and Caroline Roland got married in 2010 while traveling with a ministry team around the United States. While on this ministry team, they had the opportunity to take part in the planting of a church in downtown Salt Lake City. During this time they fell in love with the state of Utah and were given a desire to return one day to continue in the church planting work. After this experience, they moved to GA where Josh was on pastoral team at Lebanon Baptist Church for 11 years. In 2024 the Lord opened up the door for them to move to Utah. Currently Josh serves as the church planting pastor at Gospel Hope. They have six daughters and are excited about the church planting opportunity that God has opened up in Saratoga Springs, Utah.

Caleb and Maddie Sturgis met in college, sharing a love for coffee, sports, and ministry in the West. After getting married in 2019, they spent five years in GA where Caleb served as a church intern and pastoral resident at Lebanon Baptist Church. During that time, their burden for Utah deepened and the opportunity opened up for them to partner with the Rolands to plant Gospel Fellowship Church in Saratoga Springs. They moved out with their son in the summer of 2025 eager to see God work in forming a community of people changed by the gospel of grace.

Support GFC

As Gospel Fellowship Church begins this new chapter, we invite you to join in meeting their practical needs. Launching a new church brings both exciting opportunities and significant costs. Rent alone is projected at nearly $5,000 each month. In addition to this, there are ongoing expenses such as utilities, website and technology costs, and licenses, along with everyday items needed to serve their community well, such as chairs, sound equipment, and printers. We are confident that God will provide, and one of the ways He does so is through the generosity of His people. Would you prayerfully consider giving a one-time gift or committing to monthly support for one, two, or three years to help Gospel Fellowship Church lay a strong foundation in their early years of ministry?
